If you aren’t sure where to ski this winter or are looking for something specific, email us at [email protected] and we’ll do what we can to help!

We recently launched a West of 105 online store where we will be adding new things every week, but primarily T-shirts with a few calendars and some other bits and pieces. The majority of things in the store will be our own unique designs, but we are partnering with a few people from around the state to offer various products. One of our first partnerships is with landscape photographer Julien Kibler. His calendar of amazing images of Colorado is available now. Click here to see and order it. We also have a really fun calendar of “Angry Animals of Colorado,” which you can see here.

There are a few new bougie hotels that have either opened or are slated to open soon. The Mollie is a beautiful new property in Aspen that expertly blends contemporary Scandinavian and Japanese design elements. We’ll have a longer piece on the Mollie and a few other places on www.Westof105.com soon.

Comedian Mark Normand was once called one of the “best young up and coming comics” by Jerry Seinfeld. His self-released special, “Out To Lunch” garnered over 10 million views on Youtube, and he has also been on all of the late night shows. Normand will be at the Avalon Theater in Grand Junction tomorrow (Nov. 11th). Click here for more information.

The Eagle Winter Market & Holiday Fair is tomorrow (Saturday Nov. 11th) from 9 am - 3pm at the Eagle River Center. A one-stop shop for anyone who delights in holiday must-haves, handmade crafts, beauty products, food, and people and pet photos with Santa. It’s free, too.

In Montrose this evening (Friday Nov. 10) there is a mini film festival. “Vertical Life” is a series of films that showcases incredible climbing adventures from around the world. Presented by the Montrose Recreation District and the Montrose High School Climbing team and taking place at the Flex Rec facility, the films start at 6.30pm. $5 for advanced registration. Click here to buy tickets.

Sutcliffe Vineyards have a new website. Nestled in McElmo Canyon, a short drive from Cortez down in the southwest corner of the state, Sutcliffe is Colorado’s most acclaimed vineyard. Da iawn, John and team. Check them and the new website out at www.sutcliffewines.com
