Spotlight: Local Voices and Visionaries

Lindsay Jane Ternes (Ridgway)
This air painter captures the light and layers of Colorado’s landscapes with vivid brushstrokes. She’ll be part of Ridgway’s Art Walk this season, and her work is available online and in select galleries.

Gabrielle Louise (Paonia)
A singer-songwriter rooted in folk, jazz, and Americana, Gabrielle brings emotional depth and artistry to every performance. She’ll be playing intimate sets this spring and working on new recordings in her North Fork Valley studio.

The Blue Pig Gallery (Palisade)
This downtown Palisade gallery features a curated selection of fine art and handcrafted pieces by Western Slope artists, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and more. It’s a vibrant hub for regional creativity.

May 23–26 | CampV
Tucked away in the high desert near Naturita, Planet V Fest is a multi-day celebration of music, art, and creative community. The festival features live sets from regional and national acts, immersive art installations, workshops, and desert camping under the stars.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival – June 19–22, 2025

The Telluride Bluegrass Festival, set in the stunning San Juan Mountains, offers four days of incredible music, community, and breathtaking scenery. Known for its intimate atmosphere and diverse performances, it’s a must-attend event for bluegrass and Americana fans.
